Online Outreach Workshop

The industry is online, your organization needs to be too.
Learn the right way to reach the people you aim to serve and potential donors online while staying grounded in your mission.

Does this sound familiar?

  • The people you’re trying to reach aren’t finding you outside of word-of-mouth referrals.

  • You have SO much potential to help more people, but they aren’t coming your way.’

  • You aren’t reaching the younger generation at all.

  • You’ve seen other orgs starting online support groups, but you don’t know how to make that work.

And while you’ve already thought about it, there are so many things to consider
when you think about having more of a presence online for your organization…

Annonymity

You can’t share pictures, video, names or any details that could identify the people you’re serving.

Consideration

The language you should and shouldn’t use seems change all the time and it’s hard to keep up!

Bandwidth

You’re so busy helping people that no one on your team has capacity to do things like create content.

You know it’s possible to figure out,
because other organizations are doing it!

In 2022, we served more women than ever before. 75% of industry/ex-industry women that reached out to Treasures found us through our social media channels.

In this workshop, we’re going to focus on 3 main areas:

  1. The important areas of your messaging to refine to ensure you reach the people you intend to serve and potential donors

  2. Optimizations on your website and social media that are key to getting people to reach out (and easy for your Care team to manage and support)

  3. Practical ways we conduct highly-attended online support groups and content creation while staying plugged into the heart of our mission.
